My name is Lizz Moore. I am a photographer from North Vancouver, British Columbia. Originally from Kamloops, BC, I relocated in 2014 with my husband, Kevin, and our pets.
My photography odyssey started somewhere around the turn of the century. I was in High School and I was becoming interested in a billion different life paths. I loved real estate, I loved interior decorating, I loved food & cooking, I loved wedding planning, animals, plants & gardening, etc. The list goes on. I couldn’t narrow down one concise career choice. My brain was in a scramble most of the time. I noticed the one common denominator was how much I loved how all of these life options were presented to me. I loved real estate & interior design photography, I loved food photography, animal photography - you get the point. My choice was made.
I got the necessary equipment and started doing Photography professionally around 2006 or 2007. After a few years of moderate success, and a few wedding gigs under my belt, I met my soon-to-be-husband who was also a freelance artist. I decided at that point that I wanted to return to school and shoot for a more stable career. I upgraded all my business courses and spent the next 6 years getting my Degree in Business Administration from Capilano University. I was enjoying myself, but I missed that creative part of my life. Photography had taken a back seat, and although I had a few gigs here and there, I craved being behind the camera once again. After completing my Degree, I decided to come back to the creative world and restart my career as a photographer.
